holiday guidelines

Ok people. Here are the guidelines for holiday ordering (which is coming up VERY soon). You know me and my last minute instructions. SORRY.

To make up for the procrastination on my end I am going to be offering up something I never have before for those of you who take advantage of our 'early black friday' sale. We typically do not discount on digitizing and embroidery but for one day only I'll be including those when I release the coupon code Friday morning.

There is some fine print to make sure your order will qualify for Christmas delivery which I'll outline below. This mainly pertains to custom aprons, since prepping logos for those takes the most time. Clutches & monogrammed ribbons are easier to prep so if that is what you are ordering just make sure to order by 12/1 and they will be delivered before Christmas day. I am only able to guantee delivery within the continental US you guys. I hate that, but I've had a few issues come up in the last couple months and I don't feel comfortable guaranteeing delivery when I can't control customs inspections.
-----------------------
1. Last day to order aprons & toolkits is next Tuesday, 11/15. PLEASE include your logo (a large jpg/png is fine) in an email or attached to your etsy conversation as soon as you order. If we do not receive your logo or embroidery file within 24 hours of purchase, we cannot guarantee you will receive your aprons in time.

2. Your logo will be sent to our digitizer immediately after receipt and we will be back in touch within 2 business days with your quote. Approval and payment need to be made within 24 hours of receipt and then you are ready to go!
-----------------------
That's it! Easy peasy lemon squeezey (as Beckett would say). Feel free to email me with any questions and if you want to get a jump on ordering, go ahead and email me your logo NOW so that we can get you a quote. hello@oatmeallace.com

Can't wait to work with all of you for holiday gifting. Don't forget, I have gift cards as well if you aren't quite sure what to buy!

Fabric Friday, III

ok guys! we're almost done. next week will be the last installment of my #fabricfriday posts because honestly, I'm terrible at keeping up with blogging and I know those of you who have actually commented on all the posts this past month (thank you very much!) are probably ready to be done as well. AMIRIGHT??? :)
thanks for hanging in with me! hope you enjoy the selection this week. I've found a few new fabrics that incorporate gold and when we launch some of our new line in april I'm going to add them to the shop. navy & gold and pink & gold are the two most paired colors, so I included two fabrics I loved that incorporate both. let me know what your favorite is in the comments below.

have a wonderful easter weekend everyone!

vendor tool kits!

As I've mentioned before, Jacin (who was my very first internet-turned-real-life friend) has had some killer ideas/talents that she has graciously shared with me. see (above) and below:

1: vendor aprons (the very first version is pictured below along with a few other random things I've monogrammed for her).
2: white girl rapping. she knows what I'm talking about...and I won't be posting a picture.

3: vendor tool kits! they perfectly complement the aprons and/or can serve the purpose of having branded gear while keeping all your important things close at hand when you are on site at a meeting/wedding/workshop/photoshoot/insert your thing here.
and...
4: she can capture me looking like this in a photo. TALENT I tell you.
(you're welcome for this picture, you guys)

I hope you all love the tool kits as much as we do. I'll be offering 20 during the preorder tomorrow at a discounted price ($100 + embroidery costs). We are working hard to add all the little extras that you might want/need to these bags, so bear with us over the next month as we finalize the offerings. The initial set will come with 20 exterior pockets of various sizes and has a large interior space with key fob to hold your bulkier gear. Tool kit dimensions are : 15" x 8.5" x 7". They will be up on my etsy site tomorrow morning at 10:00 am CST.

Can't wait to share them with you!

Fabric Friday, II

Anyone realize I didn't post last week? anyone...anyone...? ok, good. I'll make this short and sweet- I love lace! Let me know which is your favorite in the comments below and like I mentioned two weeks ago, if you comment every Friday you'll be entered to win a clutch in the fabric of your choice after my last post on April 1.  Good incentive, right? You can even go back and leave a comment now on the first post if you didn't do that before. :):)
Annnnd, for good measure, a picture of my baby and her cute little head covered in lace (hint- this one is my favorite!)

Fabric Friday!

I was supposed to start this two weeks ago but, you know, life! Let's just say I'm ready for spring to come to Chicago...kids + winter = constant state of sickness.

I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway relating to this new Fabric Friday idea. I'll be posting a set of 4 new fabrics each Friday through April 1. Here's how to enter:

Each week I'll ask you guys to leave a comment letting me know which of the four fabrics featured (say that three times fast!) that day is your favorite.

If you leave a comment every Friday you'll be entered to win a clutch in the fabric of your choice.

I'll announce the winner Monday, April 4. Hope you guys enjoy the selection and look forward to hearing what you like the best.

Today's showcase are the dainty florals below. Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

simple (non candy) valentines.

here comes the target $1 spot for the win again.  walking by on my twice weekly trip there I spotted these cute little heart shaped glasses. adorable, right??

came home with my prize, opened up pinterest and typed in 'sunglasses valentine printable' and found exactly what I was looking for. you can download the printable I used from the Julep site HERE

:supplies needed:

heart glasses, or any kid size glasses you like (found some that are similar on amazon HERE)
paper (your choice)
scissors
stapler (or double sided tape)
cellphone bags (4" x 9.5" size from Joanns on sale, $0.99 for 25).

ps- I used plain printer paper for these, not cardstock - I haven't yet met a 4 year old who cares about paper weight...happy crafting!
